Crunch Time

So, it's nearing the end of the school year for me which mean, yes, finals are approaching. If only this were still kindergarten. Then all I'd really have to worry about is coloring my picture of what I'm going to do during vacation (which would consist of a jagged "Sea Green" crayon drawn ocean meeting some "Peach" sand accompanied with a smiling stick figure, representing myself, near a freshly built sand castle with a "Apple Red" crab near it, a "Solar Yellow" sun smiling down upon us all cool like with his sun glasses and some really drawn out "M"s symbolizing seagulls) and then sharing it with the rest of the class. Following afterwards would be snack time and then recess until we're picked up by our respective parents and/or guardians.

But alas, I am now a college student. What does that equate for this double Humanities major...er? Articles, essays and papers, oh my! I currently have at least one more paper to do for my English 20C class; which, by the way, is more focused on film than English. That kind of irks me since they try to make us learn more film aspects than English and I'll, more likely than not, never use those methods or terminology again after this. Once that paper is done, all I have to do are the readings to prepare for the final on the last day of that class. Then I still have to memorize the first set of lines from the Canterbury Tales in Middle English for English 112. Beowulf went just fine and I'll possibly post a recording of myself reciting the first 3 lines of it in Old English later on. Then to wrap up that class I have a midterm/final on the last day of class as well. For my Archaeological Theory and Methods class I need to write up a proposal for funding for an (surprise) archaeological dig. Not too hard except for the fact that the rough draft is due this Wednesday and I have nothing. And finally, Tagalog, where I have two more quizzes and a final presentation left, that should be cake.

Well that's the rundown on my current status as a student of Spring Quarter 08 in UC Riverside. Now I must get ready for class.

P.S. - Teacher! I finished my drawing!
